Elroy Lawyers
Law Firm Serving Elroy, Wisconsin
The city of Elroy is located in the western part of Juneau County, Wisconsin, where state highways 80, 82, and 71 come together. For a good portion of its history, Elroy was known as an important railroad hub. In the late 1800s, the Baraboo Air line (later acquired by the Chicago and North Western) maintained a roundhouse and other operations in Elroy. This line became the main line between Chicago and Minneapolis for CNW. When the main line was moved north of Elroy, the tracks were removed and the right-of-ways were converted into popular bike routes, including the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail and 400 State Trail.
Elroy Trivia
A piece of trivia: at the height of its popularity in the early 1980s, the game Trivial Pursuit was produced in Elroy, Wisconsin.
Another good piece of Elroy knowledge to have on hand is a good local attorney. Legal matters for state courts for Elroy residents are handled in the Juneau County court in Mauston. The law firm of Pemberton & Englund routinely represents Elroy residents in legal matters involving criminal law, family law, and personal injury law. This representation includes snowmobile accidents on the trails, owi/dui defense, and complex divorces involving property valuation.
